I understand why this is the PS Vita game of choice. Very specific aesthetic. Repeatable by design. It's not quite God Eater, but close enough. I don't think I'll end up picking this up, after playing the demo, but mostly because I don't have the headspace for it. It's neat.

Demo gameplay for Cu-on-Pa SFC in 1996. Yes, the SNES version is called SFC, don't get it twisted. It's a color block puzzle where you try to match the field with the top side of your cube. It's a little confusing, but Japan loves tumbling dice.

Also interesting, the arcade game is a hybrid with a card collector, to really go for that Pokémon hype. You can scan your card and then participate in a simple rock paper scissors fight. The machine is purposely kept low to cater to young children. Capitalism wouldn't allow that, these days. Neat!
