Carbon markets are incomplete without nuclear
Major carbon standards do not allow nuclear projects to generate credits, distorting the market, writes Guido Núñez-Mujica, director of data science at the Anthropocene Institute.
To truly accelerate decarbonization, Núñez-Mujica says we must level the playing field so all low carbon electricity sources can benefit from carbon markets and be rewarded for their contribution to decarbonization.
