I can 100% confirm that we did *NOT* base the mask on Jeffrey Epstein. The mask was based on the old concept of 1930s era devil masks used by magicians. Ours was sketched by Tom Savini & sculpted by Jason Baker. At no time did anyone mention Epstein and modern real world abuse was not on our minds.

Reading his brief Fantastic Four run set after Civil War not only made me view it as one of my favorite Fantastic Four runs, but also showed how talented Dwayne was.

I highly recommend Dwayne's Fantastic Four run if you haven't read it yet.

Dwayne McDuffie deserves to be held on the same level as Jack Kirby or Alan Moore for how he shook up the comics world. I’ll be lucky if I can write something with a fraction of his excellence.

Warren does a great job of writing John Constantine, especially in the "Tall Tales" story.

The writer also wrote cool and creepy stories that deal with loss and haunted pasts, especially in "One Last Love Song."

Reading Warren's run also has me wanting to seek out Garth Ennis' Hellblazer run.

I just read Warren Ellis' run on John Constantine: Hellblazer.

On this day in Horror History, ARMY OF DARKNESS was released in 1993.

This has to have come up before but in the comics Vision was created from Simon William's brainwaves & Simon born in Jersey means Vision could easily have a thick Jersey accent. Full on Jersey Vision is now my head canon. "You will believe an android can order disco fries & a pork roll...and cry."
