I read the silo series, and it was pretty good.

The first law is probably MY absolute favorite fantasy series. Started out slow but I absolutely love it! You should check out Red Rising. First book is a bit stereotypical, but man o man does it pick up and run! 🔥

I am struggling to find a new series to read.

My favorite genres are sci-fi and dark Fantasy.
I prefer them gritty.

Omgosh I loved Dino crisis! Good nostalgia.
Makes me sad remembering simpler times.

It may take a bit to get used to. I don't like using a phone screen too small. When it's your turn, you can select walk,run,or jump and select how many hexes you moved. In shooting phase select what weps to shoot and select enemy mech. It keeps track of ammo,heat,damage,everything.

We use 2 iPads.
Just log in and bring up the sheets you are using for both players on both tablets. Then there is a little connect button at the top, and you can connect to each other. Make sure automation is on and bam! Once you get the hang of it, you will never go back.

I have been teaching my 8 and 10 year old. I use flechs sheets to streamline everything. It really really helps.

7/ What the trans community is going through right now breaks my heart. I will continue to be a voice for them, just as I was for all LGBTQ+ people during the Bush and Obama years when they faced constant attacks.

4/ America is not special. It was founded on betrayal, death, slavery, and genocide. That’s just how it was/is. This is sadly a fact.

3/ Thomas Jefferson had a Black girl chained in his basement to rape whenever he wanted, all while writing a document proclaiming "all men are created equal." The Founding Fathers were (mostly) horrible monsters.

2/ They had trade routes, entertainment, religion, and borders. America is built on their bones.

1/ When Americans talk about how great America is and deify the Founding Fathers, it always frustrates me. America has been great throughout its history—for wealthy white men. But before America, there were civilizations here already.
