I think that's a really neat idea. I've got several public domain works saved as PDFs that are already offset for printing (32 pages or 8 sheets per section). That said offset printing in Word is pretty easy. I can tell you how to do it if interested.

Sometimes they change the order of events too. Shakespeare did the same. It's because both cultures viewed history as a morality play and wrote their narratives accordingly. The gospels are most like a biopic that presents a sliver of a person's life to explore and illustrate their character.

Quick note from my nerdiness: the earliest Christians were fiercely monotheistic Jews and they most likely wouldn't have believed in the divinity of Jesus. John's gospel is the one that teaches the concept the most clearly and it's also the latest one written. I think those are connected.

Believe it or not I agree with you on that. But the Bible is at play in our society. People want to set up a theocracy based on the Bible. Being able to quote their own scriptures back at them is one of the few things I've found effective.

Of course politics was involved. Politics is involved in anything humans do. I think the doctrine of hell developed as a control mechanism too, it isn't taught in any kind of clarity in either Testament.

Oh and if your enemies are Christian Nationalists, it's helpful to be able to tear their arguments apart using their own scriptures.
