Flashback to years back - GwenFox is standing at an open sliding door, with her grandma in the foreground folding napkins. Text: When visiting my Bà Nội (paternal grandma), she used to greet me with a 'sniff kiss'.

The colors have changed in the scene, everyhting is a variaiton of pink. Gwen's Bà Nội sniffs her cheek and hand, then kisses it. Emphasis is put on Gwen's hand being squeezed, with various lines projecting out of the hand. Text: She'd sniff my cheek...sniff my hand...kiss my hand, then squeeze it gently.

Cut back to present day. It's night time now, with the room being completely dark - but not sad. Gwen looks upon her drawing tablet with a soft smile on her face as we can see an alter in honor of her Bà Nội in the background. Text: She didn't speak much English. and I spoke even less Vietnamese. But that was her way of saying she loved me. As I get older, I don't want to be sad that the little things are gone. I'm trying to be happy that they happened at all.

im totally with u on the contact damage issue. like sure big long wind up attacks or super late game bosses make sense, but too many enemies early on make the early game feel especially punishing. nothing like that was in the early parts of the first game
