They know exactly what they're doing, but I'm hopeful that they also know it's not working so well anymore. That we, as a whole, are waking up.

We're living it, only we have iPhones and big screen TV's, so a lot of us feel like we're doing just fine. This is why they want books banned. This is why they want us focused on each other instead of them.

It, along with other contributing factors, was a direct cause of it. We simply need to change out two nouns: the aristocracy for billionaires and the clergy for government. After we do that, it's the exact same. Especially when it comes to taxes paid vs. labor rendered.

Federal Minimum wage in the U.S. has stayed stagnant for over 15 years, yet the cost of goods has gone up over 36% in that time. This means that your argument about how raising it will only cause corporations to raise prices is irrelevant.

If you don't know who this is without the help of Google, you have no right to assume that what is happening in the U.S. is nothing like what happened in Nazi Germany. You clearly don't know history well enough to make that claim.
