I agree w/ the sentiment that the big corporations are likely to be 1st to leverage Trump for tariff refunds, so they’re EZ to loathe. But firsthand, ~80% of US businesses are 10 or fewer employees, >95% when counting sole proprietors. They/we got f’d more than anyone by the tariffs, ate that cost.

Incredible opinion. It holds that the common ICE tactic of jumping out of an unidentified rental vehicle and seizing suspected noncitizens while masked violates the Fourth Amendment because the *manner* of the seizure is incompatible with a free society governed by the rule of law.

Today’s SCOTUS ruling on Trump’s illegal tariffs is not a win for the sanctity of the law, or any sweeping preservation of our US Constitution. But rather a reminder to be grateful this POTUS makes arguments so f’ing stupid, even this collection of Heritage-leashed chucklefucks HAD to rule…

I don’t get how you could ever fail in law school in 2026 cuz w/ every illogical, unconstitutional argument made on an exam that would normally be found legally incorrect, you can always point to three corrupt dingleberries on the Supreme Court making the same or worse errors. The unintended consequence of this SC ruling against Trump’s illegal use of tariffs—& probably what dum-dum realizes exposes himself the most—is he’s been trying to bully other countries for over a year w/ these tariffs as his main weapon. And now they know he’s saber-rattling w/ a Nerf sword.
