I'm glad its hitting the narrow band of goth looks that it does, but i just kinda wish it would show off more goth bredth (i.e. a lot of monochrome looks that they dont seem to give extra work to fit into the show's look), to run where those older goth-appealing cartoons walked.

- 'mall goth' stuff was what was cheapest & in bright colors that appealed to kids & normies. A really cool introduction to the goth visuals, but in some adopters it didn't entice them to invest in some more intricate or robust pieces, & that perpetuated a sense of 'tourism' w/ the mall goth style.

Not goth enough: all character designs & costume choices seem to be hitting a very narrow band of pop-punk/scene/emo aesthetics that mirror what was called, olden times, 'mall goth' or 'hot topic style'. But not to besmirch early 2000s hot topic, they carried a wide range of goth options, but the-

- pedigree of the show damns it by comparison and I wish the money behind it had brought in not just good animation, but some graphic designers to revamp some designs & art-style choices on the pre-production side of things (which, im judging from seeing some sample shots from indie animators).

Artstyle: UPA (who seemed to actually know and apply graphic design chops to their abstraction)>dexlab/ppg>billy&mandy+invader zim>villainous>vivziestuff, where they all look like busy details on the same paper doll bodies & the backgrounds are all too visually heavy vs the characters. The art -

Hard to chime in that i have very little motivation to watch the show for artstyle/animation reasons while there's all the hubbub about creator proclivities. Like, the telephone chain of art style influence is at this point unintelligible & has lost the meat on the bone for me. & its not goth enough

My mother is dealing with a second fall from this same issue with physical therapy often needing to be longer or tapered out to maintainable routines, but the insurance only covering triage levels of physical therapy.

But, this is in california, where some things get paid for at all. So its still appealing from the perspective of south eastern states' Healthcare situation.

- the first place, but this issue of what insurance should pay for is more an issue of who should pay for the bandaid after the cut has already been done. Plenty of other self-caused medical issues are covered so I dont have issue with perceived patient responsibility for obesity either.

Once they're within a weight that doctors can't use as a 'reasonable doubt' style deferment of diagnosing whatever is the patient's main medical problem, then keeping the weight off can be addressed more optimally for long term health. I dont think weight should be such an impediment to care in-

- going to do even a soft diagnosis until a patient is under a number that was represented in case+treatment studies, then a quicker means of weight loss, that doesn't conflict with their current work (+ life responsibilities) schedule, should both be prescribed & covered by their insurance.
