All the people I still know in LA laugh and laugh when they hear that "Los Angeles is burning." I made a couple of maps to show just how tiny and localized the protests are. GOPers are working really hard to make an excuse for declaring martial law. People should be very wary of that.

Demonizing homeless people isn't some sort of heroic truth-telling.

It's a political tactic meant to divert attention from the poverty wages, unaffordable housing, and engineered neglect that created America's homelessness crisis.

Most of us are a few unlucky breaks away from being homeless. It’s grotesquely fascinating how people all over are so easily able to dehumanize the homeless. One day you’re a person, the next you’re a pest people want quietly eliminated. Anyway, I need to get back to producing shareholder value.
