Devabees have retired. Our locally bred honey bees foraged on wild flower meadows and Cheshire Orchards to produce honey that was good for the devabees and great for us; making all the effort worthwhile.

We've had a little Spring Clean at the Beeston Castle Bronze Age Roundhouse and a reorganisation of stuff. Many more artefacts are now on show. Come see and let us know what you think.

This is a windlass that I invented as a tool for tightening the ropes in the Beeston Castle Rope Bed.
No idea as to its Bronze Age authenticity. But it does the job with ease.

Come to Beeston Castle and see a Bronze Age Roundhouse complete with a central hearth with actual fire. That is if you dare πŸ˜€

Also there seems to be controversy within British Academia as to the benefit or otherwise of bee bricks.
Feels a bit like green washing to me. But then I dunno anything.

Afaik one council in England requires such things in new builds taller than 5m. Not quite the same as the impression being created by the above message.

Don't acquire.
Just flour, water and time.
