Gave this another listen to see if my opinion changed. It didn’t. Least impressive album by the artist IMO. Some tracks seem more like (good) ideas rather than fully complete songs. Thank god for I Need A Man.

There are albums of covers by artists and then there is this incredible collection. Versions on this are sensational. It jumps out of the speakers and doesn’t let up for 27minutes. Wish it went for double that.

Pub rock with attitude and horns. Not always the most tuneful of bands but there are enough hooks to get you in. Best song? Ghost Nation itself.
