This is the reality of being young in the US. I'm doing literally everything that I possibly can, but it's never enough to keep my head above water. I've been unemployed for 5 months and after 100s of applications, I *still* don't have a job. I interview well, I know I do,

I can't ask my mom, my friends have all pitched in more than I wish they had (grateful but guilty), I sure as shit ain't asking my grandparents, and nowhere is calling me back for a job interview. I need something, god, anything, but all I get are more hurdles and another month I may lose housing.

I'm exhausted. I have 2 weeks left until I graduate. I have to come up with $700 in ONE week. I can't drive for uber until I can pay my phone bill and I can't pay my phone bill withiut money from ubering. I have 30 days to come up with another $100 fee OUTSIDE of surviving.

The internal fight between the teacher's pet side of me that wants instructors to remember me and the side of me that wants to be as unassuming and forgettable as possible so that people underestimate me and/or don't see me as either a threat or a target.

Successfully replaced the clutch master cylinder of my truck today! The only help I needed was to borrow some tools and extra hands to bleed the clutch hydraulics. It's the first real part replacement I've done without someone to walk me through it :]
