Medicare for All would save $450B a year.
Every dollar spent on food stamps generates $1.50-$1.80 in economic activity.
Each dollar going to low-wage workers adds $1.20 to the economy overall.
Itβs not about what this country can or canβt afford.
Itβs about priorities.

Even ignoring the existential costs of climate change, renewables have become much cheaper and more efficient than fossil fuels. It is utterly mad that we continue to subsidise inferior technology that is destroying the biosphere by close to $7 trillion USD per year. That's about 6% of global GDP.

People always say, "Oh yeah but green energy pollutes as well."
Here is the facts a Solar Panel pollutes about 1/300th as much as burning gas, and a Wind Turbine about 1/500th.
That means if you used 100% Wind you would get the same pollution in 500 years as you now get in 1.

Yet it's a potentially fruitful line of argument.
Many of the UK's current problems stem from something most of us would prefer not to dwell on - Brexit. Depressed investment, low productivity, stagnant economic growth and living standards, the strain on the public finances and thus public services, food prices, the "Boriswave" of more than 2 million (legal) immigrants, increased red tape and border hassles for businesses, farmers and travellers... all can be traced back, to a greater or lesser extent, to 2016 and the EU Referendum. And who, as he reminds us again now, spent 30 years of his life campaigning for Britain to leave the EU? Farage.
It is he, Farage, who 'broke Britain' with Brexit and is now capitalising on the vast damage he caused

The rich are 'squeezing out' ordinary people and this millionaire aims to stop it
Gary Stevenson achieved his childhood dream of becoming rich by his mid-20s. The 39-year-old now spends most of his time campaigning against the wealthy.

"His biggest piece of advice to Australians?"
"If you are going to give your natural resources to private companies, you should make sure that you get a phenomenally good deal & you should be taking a big share of the profits."
