I realize the worst part of caregiving for my mother is that I had spent the previous 20 years UNLEARNING a shitload of ptsd reactions from having grown up with her and HER ptsd, then having to crashcourse relearning them in the course of 6 months re-living with her. Unlearning AGAIN is tough. 😠
