Trump just cancelled $8B of energy projects to pressure Democrats to let him jack up health care costs.
And he didn't just cancel projects in Dem districts; he canceled them in R districts too. The difference is that Republicans are letting him use their constituents as pawns.

Because of President Trump's "Big, Beautiful Bill," Californians will see the average monthly share of their premiums increase from 73% – 388% starting in January. Democrats in Congress have agreed to fund the government to reverse these cost increases, but Republicans continue to block the deal.
The GOP Budget Law passed this summer will nearly double — and possibly triple — monthly health insurance bills for most Californians enrolled in our state's marketplace.
Republicans can either take immediate action to fix this or continue lying about making Americans pay more.

Letting Cook keep her job for now won't stop the Court from ruling against her later.

I appreciate that the majority refrains from offering a definitive view of this dispute and the questions raised in it. But the effect of its ruling is to allow the Executive to cease obligating $4 billion in funds that Congress appropriated for foreign aid, and that will now never reach its intended recipients. Because that result conflicts with the separation of powers, I respectfully dissent
