Brown and wilted green winter garden plants left standing and sprinkled with white cornstarch puffs. It looks trashy now but they break down the first time we get a decent moisture event. Worms love the starch and it keeps them from landfill.

We might not have acreage but living in city with no HOAs means I can literally be trashy AF. Biodegradable cornstarch packing materials are more common now (test by dipping 1 in water—they dissolve immediately) & go right into our flower beds to drive worms wild. Too lazy to compost. #gardening 🌱
