16 miniatures of the "Female Gridiron Team by Shadowforge, serving as a third party team that I always used as proxy for the Amazons. Their kit and helmet is painted in purple, their protective gear in white. Around them are some trees, and they are standing in front of a capybara statue (which is made by Bad Squiddo Games).

Throwback, since some big game across the pond is the talk of the day (or not):

It's late 2019, I haven't painted minis in years, when a creative project inspired me to pick up the brush and paint these Blood Bowl minis.

Two Leman Russ Battle Tanks with heavy bolter sponsons, one of which is the retooled kit from 2009. A Manticore. Two Chimeras, the 3rd edition plastic kit.

With my Kriegers taking a back seat, I'm continuing to work on my old Cadian army.

Next up: Eyes and edge highlights. Can't say I've missed painting these steps.

That's the gunboat from the old X-Wing PC games. Looks awesome, the damage adds quite some character to the model.

(And according to Wookiepedia it's called the "Alpha-class Xg-1 Star Wing". Now that's a mouthful, isn't it?)

I found decals for my Valkyrie in my scale model supplies. This is probably where I have to declare that any similarities to naval aviators, real or fictional, is purely coincidental.

Got somethin' that might interest ya stranger. Got a commission to turn the resident evil 4 merchant into a space marine.

A Winter German from Warlord Games. The miniature is customized so he holds both this arms up, surrendering to an enemy force. He wears a greatcoat of a feldgrau color, and a dark grey helmet that has been covered with a winter whitewash camo. To his feet, lying in the snow, is his Mauser K98k. Visible in the background are parts of an Opel Maultier halftrack.

Looks very good.

Two Leman Russ Battle Tanks, one of which is the retooled kit from 2009 (the older one is so close to being finished, I don’t even know why I didn’t complete it back in the day). Two Chimeras. And last but not least, a Manticore.

Feeling nostalgic, I've started to give these guys some attention: Additional elements for my old 4th/5th Edition Imperial Guard army.

About time that they are finally receiving some paint.
