Painting minis to have them collect dust on the shelf is a valid part of this hobby. Just saying. That said, it's an incredible mini!

A customized version of Games Workshop’s miniature of Lord Marshal Dreir for the game Warhammer 40k, with the intention to use it as Lord Solar Leontus. The main changes are: The Krieg Mount is prancing, “Dreir” is holding a sword instead of the usual sabre, and he is looking to his right .

I found a Krieg army box and couldn't resist picking it up. The downside: I have a 2nd Dreir mini now.

So… why not go crazy and turn him into a Lord Solar proxy? Still a WIP, but I like how he's looking so far.

A strip of 20 marching miniatures from Warlord Games for their 15mm scale game "Black Powder Epic Battles - Revolution!" These are painted as British infantry, and thus are wearing red coats, white waistbands and white breeches, as well as black tricorns and black boots. Each of them carries a flintlock rifle with a bayonet.

The freebie sprue in WI452 inspired me to try painting 15mm miniatures for a change. Here are my first 20 Redcoats, eager to suppress the American Revolution.

It was fun. But one confession before I go back to my main projects: The sprue actually was a blue one. 👀

Ten miniatures to be used as city watch in the game "Guards of Traitor's Toll". They are carrying a variety of melee and ranged weapons. Their tunics and gambesons are in blue and white colors, and some have silver colored plate armor and helmets. They are standing on cobblestone bases with blue and white rims.

I know the camera is ever so unforgiving, but I think I consider these #TraitorsToll guards done and ready for battle.

Maybe I'll add some subtle weathering. Not too much though. It's a fantasy setting, they’re allowed to look pristine lol.

Happy #Caturday! For the past few days my male cat has been the one to keep me company while I worked on my minis. Apparently my cats are taking turns with inhabiting this box near the "hobby desk". I'd love to understand how this agreement is made.

A WIP photo of the infantry part of my 1000 point Death Korps of Krieg army, 58 miniatures in total. Pictured are a command squad, two infantry squads with 20 Kriegers each, crews for heavy weapons and artillery, as well as a few extras minis from a second command squad box.

Progress for my DKOK: Washes are applied, bases textured. Next up, my least favorite part: Decals.

Me & my wish for a custom regiment. The 212nd iykyk. Just replace one digit of the 262nd decal. Easy, right?
