Strange ponderings that I cant find an answer to online. What was the Gaeilge book that was used in 1990 when I was in first year of secondary school. The only line I can remember from it is ironically as Béarla and is 'Punk is cool'. Anyone remember it?

Its easier as a teacher to just go to school than set cover work when ill!

In other odd things. Driving out of London yesterday there were illuminated billboards the size and side of buildings. Then the Blade Runner soundtrack came on in the car.... felt.... oddly appropriate!

More importantly I reconnected with so many friends that I have embarrassingly neglected over the years. Social media really just isn't the same feeling as being around folks is it, no matter how we try to convince ourselves it is!

#Dragonmeet was excellent. Daughter and I had a great time. A couple of games played, Golden Sky Stories was brilliant and Pathfinder, excellent scenario but I dont think its a system for me. Said hi and a (probably bit weird) thanks to @jcvim.bsky.social as LA by night reenthused me for vampire!

Car park booked (ouch!) ulez day charge paid! Add in fuel cost and we’re talking £70 or so for 2. Train would have been better but that’s closer to £200 so nope. 0600 leave house, return late!! Tickets sorted and games booked. Really looking forward to #Dragonmeet

Gods I hate this time of year. Get up and go to work in the cold dark, most of the time leave work in the cold dark. SADD light on my desk is having to do some heavy lifting!

Apparently I got lucky last time I needed to buy a cycling helmet to find one that was the right size and shape without costing as much as the bike!!

1 week out from WHFRP Enemy Within campaign.
2 weeks out from Vampire Dublin by Night.
Very different styles of game, and very different styles of play. WHFRP uses a lot of roll20 while Vampire is mainly theatre of the mind with the odd image. So very glad I embraced the idea of online TTRPGs!!

So the bad place used to have a whole education community on it. I've had a bit of a look but cant seem to find the magic keyword for it. Anyone got any suggestions?
