Someone’s dog, mine. Pestered me from 0130 onwards ensuring I’ve been up since way before dawn.

Nothing out of his ordinary is wrong with him, I don’t know why I deserved this treatment.

I ended up getting and making soup for lunches.

When your usual dog-sitter’s unavailable, so you book a new one — and accidentally send your dog on a spa retreat. Log cabin, sheep fleece bed, garden, armchair, and five lady dogs to play with. Foals in the paddocks, birdsong in the air. I drop him off and I’m the one with FOMO.

BREAKING NEWS: Dennis!!

I managed to grow my favourite flower by scattering out of date seed 🌱 on the loose soil by my beech hedge.

Cornflowers have such a deep intense hue and are so beautiful.
