A settings menu. The screen gives the feeling of a command line interface, but without the pain of actually using one. In the right, a diagram shows how toggling the switch will affect control of the camera.
A weapon customization screen. Prominently featured are the weapon and its statistics. Along the bottom of the screen are weapons to choose from. In the background is the wireframe of the mecha being customized.
A mission selection screen. A globe made up of tiny cubes shows a list of locations. I also discovered too late that Armored Core does not take place on Earth but whoโs asking. To the right are parameters about the mission.
Hereโs the final versions of some screens for my Armored Core concept. I took inspiration from (now sadly) retro anime, industrial computers, and older operating systems like System 7.

On the left, a jewel shaped panel shows a glitched anatomy of the Black Panther suit with gloves highlighted. Behind it, a video displays upgrade in action. The weapon name is overlayed in white, and the selected upgrade is highlighted by a white panel. To the right, an upgrade tree is shown. Each upgrade uses the same triangular jewel shape as the left panel. The first and lowest upgrade is highlighted.
An alternative approach to a hypothetical Black Panther interface. Iโve recently been playing Ghostwire and was inspired by their UI approach.
