Kiddy Kong knows what he did

Kirby has an ideal sense of continuity for these types of ongoing games bc it’s a “soft” continuity where the stuff from previous games happened if the current game needs them to have happened.

There one line in a Sonic game I cannot bear. In Sonic Forces Infinite says Sonic has been going Eggman for decades. Do not say that. I don’t want to be aware of the passage of time in these games. Also Sonic is supposed to be a teen, wtf do you mean “decades”

So odd bc Crossworlds offered a S2 upgrade at a good price.

It’s actually a crime that you can’t just upgrade Sonic x Shadow Generations to a Switch 2 version— when they did indeed release a version of the game for Switch 2.

Finally finished the script for Puffer and Clarissa and the Monsters! It'll take a long time to finish all the thumbnails (I like to do them all before starting) but I just wanted to give a progress report.

I've been getting back into comics while I wait for more info from my concept job, and I thought I'd make a post about something very important to me, which is COMIC PANEL VARIATION and HOW TO THINK ABOUT IT.

Having played it, I can really say the reason the Virtual Boy was doomed was because there was no way anyone was gonna play, like, a JRPG on that thing. Stuff like the Wii and 3DS had gimmicks suited to certain games, but ultimately didn’t lock other games out with their designs.

I believe Home compatibility is coming… eventually. I’m personally gonna wait to buy it since I’ve spent a lot this month.

The Virtual Boy games have a sort of widescreen effect before that was ever a thing, which is neat

So far: pretty fun. Wario Land and Red Alert are my favs. I really don’t know why they didn’t just add the whole VB library day 1. I mean come on, it is a small library of games. They don’t need to be drip-fed.

In Donkey Kong 64, the Giant Spider miniboss can only be fought once. Modifying the game to fight it a second time makes it unceremoniously explode. While this appears to be a glitch, examining the code reveals it was actually deliberately added for the developers' own amusement.
