I can safely say on this app that I’m genuinely upset about things I KNOW are happening in Pompano Beach, but can’t prove.

It’s very difficult to keep emotions out of my stories. But how!?

An injustice is happening to our community of color and I feel responsible for not getting the word out.

I’ve been reporting about the city of Pompano Beach for 5 years. I’m watching as city officials blatantly ignore the community where a $200 million new downtown will go.

It’s difficult to take emotion away from writing.

So many of them lost so much. He is not wrong. I understand wanting to have some sort of celebration, but there is still too much suffering and too many fires burning as we speak. So many homes gone, people and pets, and celebrities were not immune. He’s doing the right thing, the only thing.
