...Luckily, that's not his only fate. Augustine's very lucky to have his sestra Boram ( @beesht.bsky.social ) and his bestie Elorin ( @ankheg.bsky.social ) to help pull him back from the edge and encourage him towards living and Dolly. He's lucky to have made some more strong friendships since.

Val'dran absolutely can't stand the cold. He's cold to start with, and the cold has a tendency to affect some of his scars, in particular the ones across the fingers on his right hand, which can get nigh unusable.

He often prefers to work in Neverwinter during winter since it's warmer 1/2

Augustine doesn't dance with just anyone.
It's probably his most vulnerable form of communication - it requires trust and respect.
He speaks through it.
Outside of Dolly, he enjoys practice with a talented partner to keep his skills sharp (like @shandoraexplorer.bsky.social Rolim!)

Elorin, a drow Tav, is stood in his shop behind the counter. He has his arms folded and a firm expression as he looks across the counter towards the shadowed figure who is recoiling in shock. Behind Elorin is Abdirak, in the midst of removing the cloak covering his usual Loviatan robes. He has a subtly apprehensive expression and is looking nervously towards the shadowed figure. Around the edge is a greyscale pattern of a rose and whip motif in a repeating line.

The image is split in the middle by a slight diagonal line. On the left, Abdirak is kneeling on a red rug facing upwards towards a window with sunlight streaming through and shining on him. He has his back to the viewer so we can see fresh red whip marks across his back, and he is holding a flog casually over his knees. The rest of the scene is composed of a few candles near him on the floor and a ceremonial sword on a stand in front of him beneath the window, with some plants and vines around, above, and under the window, and a couple of loose chains hanging with the vines towards the wall on the right. The right hand image is an outdoor scene, showing the drow Elorin kneeling in front of a flower bed with one hand gently examining the pink flowers growing there. The sun is behind him and lighting his back, with the edge of some woods in the background behind him. His attention is focused on the flowers. This third scene is at night with the last of the sunset colouring the sky in the background. Elorin is sitting fully on the edge of a raised wooden planter box, whilst Abdirak is leaning slightly on the edge. Abdirak has one arm around Elorin's waist, and their foreheads are just touching as they lean towards one another, with one of Elorin's hands gently on Abdirak's cheek/jaw area, fingers slightly lifting some of Abdirak's hair. Their expressions are soft and show their devotion to one another in the intimately posed scene, focused entirely on each other.

Elorin starts BG3 at a youthful 115.

I haven't decided an exact age where he finally dies but, as a powerful sorcerer who avoids trouble and is away from the normal health hazards drow face, he lives to a ripe old age, keeping to himself and serving his community.
