Wow, the anti-migrant protest leaders in Aberdeen are incredibly dangerous. This is white supremacy, and it is alive and well in Scotland. #Disclosure

Thank you to Four Pillars for hosting and organising.

Aberdeen Trades Union Council president, Tommy Campbell, gives a stirring speech on the steps of Union Terrace Gardens. Many people can be seen listening, holding flags, banners and placards.

On St Andrewβs Day we marched against racism and fascism.

The headwinds for Mossmorran were clear. That's why in 2022 we commissioned a report looking in depth at future options, followed by summits with trade unions. Governments needed to act much earlier.
Now we need to see real investment in the future of the site and the workforce.
The far-right in Aberdeen really are pathetic.

Dana Petroleum has been contracted by the Israeli govt. to explore gas off the coast of Gaza, in waters internationally recognised as Palestinian.

The 20% real terms cut in funding our colleges have endured over the last 5 years has been devastating.
Our colleges are important working-class institutions, crucial to our economy, society, and a truly just transition.
Funding cuts must be reversed.

These pay rises are a slap in the face at a time when local services are being cut and many staff are struggling on low pay.
The pay disparities between council CEOs and frontline workers are huge. We should be narrowing the gap, not expanding it.
