I haven't hit those walls yet, likely because the relational scale for a single loaded campaign is pretty light.
I'm actually trying to move towards SignalR/WebSockets next to improve real-time UI updates and therefore preventing lots of API calls in case the server gets lots of traffic.

Can you specify what you mean with campaign branching?

My models, made in C# for EF Core, are all seperated and linked by lists. These are one-to-many relationships. Something like quests has a property called "Status" to keep track if it's state.

Maggie Smith, the actress who played Prof. McGonagall in Harry Potter and Violet Crawley in Downton Abbey passed away today.
While I'm definitely a bit sad I'm also very happy to have enjoyed some of the movies she clearly enjoyed being a part of.
My condolences to her family and friends.
