All such a shame. I grew up near Croydon and remember what a vibrant shopping area it was. That said, we’ll probably be moving there in a couple of years as it’s still such a good location in many ways.

We literally saw that crash happen while we walked back from town! It tried to get round the corner at a very odd angle and took the side of the bus off with the barrier.

I’ve noticed it on the news, they all seem to be camped just outside the entrance to North. My daughter’s working at Boots and gets sent between the various branches there.

Yes when she went to work yesterday I presumed she would see stuff happening there as it was South, but she didn’t see anything.

It’s devastating isn’t it. My daughter is working at Gatwick at the moment and coincidentally was working in South Terminal today for the first time (she’s normally in North).

I wasn’t aware of this hashtag, I’ve probably got some “accidental” bus shelter photos that happen to be in general street scenes!

After a bit of research it seems donating glasses doesn’t happen any more.

There used to be a charity that took glasses and donated them abroad, but not sure that they exist any more.

We’ve found it takes around three or four months for the whole moving process, but as you’re not selling it will probably be faster than that.

Also worth a mention are the two railway stations designed by Santiago Calatrava - Liège and the recently completed Mons.

I last went there over 30 years ago and saw very little of it that time, it’s such a lovely place!

Day trip to Hastings today which is lovely. Went up on little funicular to viewpoint, had fish and chips and walked along seafront. #hastings #travel

Trip to Worthing today involved going via Barnham as Brighton line closed. Nice views of Arundel from the train and lots of nesting rooks at Barnham station.

Fantastic! What could be nicer than wining and dining on a train going through the Swiss landscape.

We’re going to Geneva in July, we’ll be going to a football match while we’re there (women’s Euros). Probably something later in the year as well but nothing planned yet.

Old tickets from a trip we did to Prague and Vienna in 2004, which I just found in a book.

Just pre-ordered mine, I’ve always been fascinated by borders so looking forward to reading this.
