I feel overwhelmed with gratitude to a local physician who bought my book in bulk so that she could plant copies in Little Free Libraries around our city to reach the public with its messaging in a grassroots way.

This is anecdotal, but measles never prevented me, or my brothers, from having cancer. Just saying . . .

I work in a cancer center and I would say about 2% are taking ivermectin either as their sole treatment or in conjunction with recommended treatment, but last week was the first time I had a patient tell me that cancer was a parasite. I could see this as a metaphor but he meant 🪱.

The use of patient testimonials for marketing on health websites is a major pseudoscientific red flag and is unethical.

I think this is what is meant by the term ‘blind privilege’.

Mistrust and conspiracy mentality have always been cornerstones of the anti-vaccine movement.

It is a movement driven by ideology, not evidence.

And it is a movement predicated on science illiteracy and dependent on pseudoscience to advance its 200+ year-old harmful narrative.

I have the greatest respect for @jonathanstea.bsky.social for he is not only an active clinician but also a researcher and a scholar.
My focus is on those he calls out for denying the existence of MI - a stance based on ideology, not reality, and one which most of us can’t afford to indulge in.
