When you go beyond a simple red and blue divide, this visual gets MUCH worse. Most of the biggest blues are pretty weak, progressively. Even TYT has been walking right lately. Meanwhile, most of the reds are what used to be called alt-right. We've gone completely off the rails.

It's fun! But this is why i believe the MLS Cup winner shouldn't be considered anything but the MLS *CUP* winner. They are not the champions of MLS. That distinction goes to the Supporters Shield winner. Or you can have a playoff between the East and West winners if you'd like.
