From orders in council today, Minister of Service Alberta and Red Tape Reduction is waiving most of the restrictions for foreign ownership of land regulations for new data centers and electrical grid infrastructure, as well as canola oil extraction.

One of Canada's best historians, his books were fantastic. He was nice enough to give me a tour of the Canadian War Museum where he was the chief historian.
A truly great Canadian.

Lots of his books on my shelf, he had a giant impact on how Canadian military history, especially of the First World War, has been researched, written and shared with the public. A great loss. Condolences to his family and the Canadian War Museum community.
