When it was Biden/Harris, the Free Palestine Movement folks were storming everything, even college campuses, and demanding to be fed.

Some of us don't recognize empty performative grandstanding as "actually working and making a difference." Bernie has been a federal officeholder for almost 35 years now. What legislation has he passed? What red seat has his support turned blue?

This Morning Joe panel with David Drucker, Donny Deutch, and Elise Jordan is the most fatuous political discussion I've seen in some time. Note to Drucker: you might want to take a good, long look at the presidential-election popular vote percentages in 1984 and 2024 before making comparisons.

I'd like to see things productively work out before a splitting up, although I suspect the latter is inevitable. But let's ask who is most appropriately speaking up in certain situations and whose voice, at least in terms of public statements, isn't that important.

I'm questioning whether it's a worthwhile goal anymore. I've long been of the view the United States is too big for its own good. Perhaps certain parts shouldn't be coddled with the tax revenues of wealthier parts anymore.

The country is going to have to dig itself out of the hole the Roberts court is creating. I'm not sure the country will survive the process as it presently stands.
