The juvenile facility is more than 500 miles away from Everett. The boy is a 7th-grader at Albert N. Parlin School in Everett, his mother said. The teen and his family, who are Brazilian nationals, have a pending asylum case and are authorized to work legally in the United States, Lattarulo said.

After her tiny walk, she ate yet more food, licked her bowl clean, curled up in her favorite chair and is taking a nap.

I really did NOT think the harness was going to work this well.

Outside cats, probably raised by their mamas in a wood pile somewhere, are just such a vibe. 💀

She also hates toys and has no interest in catnip. I tried them both bc she seems bored, but she was just like.. "please stop waving things in front of me and give pets only goddamnit, also i would like to leave this room. 💀"

Since she hates being held or carried, this is a pretty decent option. What a fierce, funny little weirdo she is. My favorite part of cat rescue is getting to watch their little personalities emerge as they feel safe. 💜
