One of the reasons why we've seen so many Classicvanias pop up lately is because people legit miss the style. In a world where things are insanely complex in day to day life, I just wanna go from A to B and kill some skelebros and snake head ladies. Classicvanias all day long.

Absolutely INSANE PICK UPS this weekend! Went to a VFW collectibles show and grabbed this Star tropics for $50. It apparently is "factory sealed" (check the second pic!) but the real winner was FINALLY nabbing Sensational She Hulk 60 to complete my set after 4 years of hunting!

I can answer this. MMC5 was used on CV3 but VRC6 was used on Akumajou Densetsu (Japanese CV3.) The MMC5 was a more expensive chip at the time but they had no choice because of the missing musicial capabilities.
