And by the time I woke up this was already walked back. This administration is annoying.

Can we go one evening without a midnight announcement. I'm particularly annoyed because I placed an order on Thursday for a specific gift for my son, that he requested for his birthday, that ships from China and now who even knows.

Oh SAME 😆 yeah I'm bad with names and if someone puts on a hat I don't recognize them. Everyone jokes about bad disguises in movies or cartoons but once I thought I was being followed in a store and after trying to lose the guy for 3 aisles I realized it was my husband in a hat. 🫠

Today our small school district sent a letter saying ICE would not be accommodated on our campuses and our sheriff dept stated they're not legally allowed to turn over data on undocumented interactions. Local laws matter. I'm glad our kids don't have to worry.

It's fascinating how we work! I have an almost photographic memory but like... not in the immediate moment. I have that typical AuDHD flightiness but later I can lay down close my eyes and visualize everything. Words on page, yes, but especially spatial arrangements and building spaces.

I have a son that is 100% opposite. It's pretty cool how our brains are all wired a bit different. I personally can't listen due to some auditory processing delay issues, but he and my husband can repeat everything heard back in detail. I'm a little jealous of them.

Almost every geological report I've written would be disqualified and they're all literally about rocks.

We had to make an apple pie for a contest & I apparently have no concept of how many apples one pie needs, so now I have two apple pies. The competition "pie" is an apple soufra. The other is Sara Lee crust and crumble top. Only one of us eats apple pie, and they're very happy.

I think this is, unfortunately, a result of the current big A dominated system itself, if I recall correctly. I know they'd been struggling with being able to even have a useful platform for a while.
