In the same way where all the love and caring that I've received when struggling with my low self-esteem, my depression, my hopeless outlook on my future, all the love can't change that. I have to be the one to learn how to change my habits and thought patterns.

Only I can change myself.

One of the hardest things I've had to learn this year is that you cannot care about someone in a way that will encourage them to make good decisions.

Your love and support can help if they're looking for it, but the desire for someone to change for the better has to come from inside them

I've been working in therapy to figure out why I spiral around thoughts and emotions. My CPT homework is to write down my emotional reactions, so doing that now would probably help
