I wish I could take a week off, go hide away with my laptop, internet and some whisky and crack on writing book three.
Too many chores and distractions here.
I’ve written very little in the past few weeks.

It is utterly terrifying not because of what it is capable, but because it is theoretically possible in our world & may be closer to being realised than we could imagine. That is something that scares me to the core & the chances are it will be developed for medical benefits & then weaponised

It occurred to me as I write the final book in my trilogy, that I may have created the most powerful, most sinister, most feared villain (& weapon) in Sci-Fi, book two gives a glimpse at what is to come.

I’ve never played before! So expect to thrash me! 🤣

I recently turned 49. Today I collected my first ever pair of prescription glasses. They are a ‘relatively’ mild strength for reading, but time is starting to catch up with me.
Tomorrow I’m going to go shopping for some comfy slippers.

I try to keep positive but truthfully I am barely keeping afloat.

I know I shouldn’t expect anything to come quickly but right now, I feel like I’m still on the start line.

I have this amazing story that I’ve written, but to be honest, everyone who has wrote a book feels the same. I’m not special.

I really give up trying to promote my book. No one wants to know.
I post on social and it’s a big no no.
I try my best but am constantly targeted by trolls.

I can’t afford to advertise, but word of mouth doesn’t work.

Book shops don’t want to know because of the ‘zon & libraries are the same.
