So much more going on here on the 15 than the 12. Hint of barrel char now not just oak.
Oranges, pear, peaches, leather, cigar tobacco.
Delicious and simple... maybe why I like it?
No need to analyse this one... sit back and enjoy this Xmas.

Big step up on the nose. Rich sherry, ginger, plum, peach, hint of something floral but not as much as the 12.

Palate:
Doesn’t feel as viscous as the chairmans dram, oak note is here from the off, charred pineapple, vanilla, rose water at the back. Lemon sherbet sweets, smoked almonds.

Buckets of summer fruit, feels like a mix of sherry here, PX and Oloroso with some oak casks. Figs, raisins, strawberry, almond.
Great nose.

Palate:
Sweet and drying all at once, viscous in the mouth despite the abv. Currents, fig, strawberry, oak at the back, peanut.

Very decent drop for Christmas if your loved one likes an oak note.

Apple Scrumpy, custard, traditional lemonade.
Ginger Beer.

Grain, Brand new lego, glue, sherry (PX)

Palate:
Wet Sherry, acetone, hazelnut, liquorice and blackcurrant but heavy on the liquorice.

Finish:
Lovely sherry and pencil shaving note.
Finish is the best part.
