I didn't hurt this much even when I had to pick up the phone to hear that grandma died while visiting other family in Russia. Not even when I had to put down a dog I'd raised since I wasn't even ten and came with me overseas because he was in so much pain he couldn't sleep -V

I hope the money was worth it for you mom and dad. I really do. And if my half-siblings have any decency, I hope they're as confused by this as we are, because Mom & Dad's lovers seem to think this is all just a quirky surprise extra family. - V

My little siblings are devastated, my baby sister is retreating into denial, one of my little brothers has gone radio silent to hide away in video games while my other brother's disassociating as hard as he can. And my wife is physically nauseous with rage. - V

I haven't heard my Older brother cry uncontrollably since I was single digit years old and my elder sisters always seemed like some of the strongest people I know and now they're mentally and spiritually broken. I hate all of this so much. - V

I can say this, my older brother and two older sisters, and my mother and father in law were more like parents to me than my own mom and dad. And I'm honestly glad my paternal grandparents passed away before this came out because this would have *destroyed* them. - V

But I just want to know...why? Were we not good enough??? Were we just replacement trophies for friends and relatives they lost in the Yeltsin years? Was any of our social circle, our "tribe of eight clans" real? Or was it just exploiting loved ones for cheap labour? - V

I'm heartbroken beyond belief. I feel lost in my own home not knowing up from down and disgusted that these people want anything to do with the lives of their grandkids, including my wife and I's children. - V

just more lies? Are they really sorry for this, for basically neglecting us to the point of being names in debit card account statements more than family? Or are they just sorry they got caught? They don't even have the decency to divorce because of the fucking business. - V

I have never been more upset in my life. I don't know what I am anymore. I've been at the point of suicide attempts before and didn't feel this empty and broken. I don't want to be mad at them, being mad hurts my heart and exhausts my body...but is their sorrow -V

They couldn't even stop from arguing with each other while pleading how this was all done for our sake to keep us in money after the trauma of the 90s and the collapse of the ostbloc and losing so much family and friends so they had to do it to save us - V

My wife is mad, angrier than I've ever seen her since we started dating when we were fourteen, even when we were single digit years old. I'm just heartbroken and wondering why we weren't good enough and they both felt like they needed more and lied to all of us. -V

and babysitting work all along and despite having *seven* of us together they had more that they would disappear for upwards of months to go be with instead...So much of my life that I thought was weird now makes perfect sense and the truth makes me so sick. - V

Was bullshit and my wife's father and mother was left holding down their fort every time they left to gold dig with the super rich while Lana and I spent our teen years helping to care for my younger siblings, *their own children* was basically just unpaid housekeeping -V

Who were trusting them to cinch up important arrangements for their co-op when in truth mom was wining and dining with a British millionaire and Dad had the eye of a market reform era corpo princess in China and all the time they said they sacrificed for our livelihoods -V

Allegedly, they only found this out about each other within this month but after seeing the lovers of decades they've been visiting in all their "overseas business trips" while leaving us to raise each other with the help of the families of their employees and lifelong friends -V

Yesterday my parents got my siblings and I and the families we started together for a family zoom chat to tell us that they're separating because they've both been cheating on each other since before I was born and we have whole families of half-siblings we didn't know about - V
