It has certainly been baffling to see Rascal's owners tout that it took six writers six months to complete their Yazeba's article only to turn around and say they were unaware I was a contractor. I'm credited as the book's cocreator and PCG's website "About" page lists all three of their employees.

As a central Gamergate target I don't love having a meme reference to the worst years of our lives being tossed in as a gotcha reference. My issue is with the editorial approach because I don't feel qualified to speak on the rest of it. Thank you.

There is also obviously a series of intersectional issues that surround the topic and the timeline and I'm not going to comment on the ones that aren't in my lane. But I will say that this approach to reporting failed to protect everyone featured in it, and that sucks, whatever side you fall on.
