I thought I knew Infocomโs Activision era history well enough, but I had not been previously aware of Mini-Zork! I enjoyed hearing your remembrances and experiences with both Zork variants.

15.01.2026 02:20 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0And from your interactive fiction peanut gallery, I found ASCII Cars and Speed Racer at IFDB. For musings on how they can work, hereโs a thread on an abandoned text adventure about auto racing called โThe Debt.โ So as Jason said, they certainly exist! forum.choiceofgames.com/t/text-based...

10.01.2026 19:53 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Utterly delightful episode. Retro podcast heaven! Thank you! In terms of IF merch, @aaronareed.bsky.social has some great offerings. www.redbubble.com/people/aaron...
27.12.2025 23:03 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0An eye-opening and horizon-expanding episode. It made me realize how little I know about IF so it motivated me to dip my toes a bit more into the IFDB pool. Mathbrushโs reviews on the site provide a good entry point for a panoramic view of the IF scene, and Iโll try some of his recommendations.
20.11.2025 03:35 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I also have an iPad Air 2 but it had been updated to 64-bit iOS and sadly there is no way back to 32-bit with that device after updating it.
27.10.2025 21:58 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0And maybe my iPad sluggishness is due to throttling, akin to your battery issue. Itโll be interesting to see how long a charge lasts on mine nowadays.
27.10.2025 21:46 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Yes, I love how the boxed elements and the Invisiclues are integrated into the game! My 4th generation iPad seems sluggish compared to the modern iPads but Iโm not complaining!
27.10.2025 21:29 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0Very happy to have the 32-bit iOS version of Lost Treasures of Infocom back up and running after reviving my 4th generation iPad earlier today. Such a fantastic implementation of this compilation. @retroadventurers.bsky.social @jasoncompton.bsky.social @tuftymctavish.com

08.07.2025 03:33 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I bought the C64 Robots of Dawn while in high school. My simpleminded reactions: I didnโt think that Lije was a plausible nickname for Elijah โcause it didnโt sound cool enough for the future. A friend and I also privately used the title of R. instead of Mr. for a teacher with a robotic personality!
08.07.2025 03:30 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0@retroadventurers.bsky.social While listening to your interview with Andrew Plotkin, I found this insert in my copy of The Book of Adventure Games II, which I recently obtained on eBay. (Btw, I just joined BlueSky in order to follow your account here!)
