Something worth noting is how the press is leaning into the framing that what’s happening in LA is a both sides issue or that they are riots. Even when the LAPD is saying it’s under control, suddenly for the first time in their lives the press is willing to ignore them

Just to be clear: the President has mobilized the Marines on American soil because people are protesting masked, secret police kidnapping people with no due process and shipping them to foreign death camps.

It’s not a misunderstanding or an oversight.

That is all it is.

There is no other side.

There are now more U.S. troops deployed to Los Angeles than in Iraq & Syria. There are 4,800 activated Guard and Marine personnel in LA, compared to the 2,500 troops in Iraq and 1,500 in Syria.--ABC News

Just learned that my legally cast ballot in North Carolina is among the 60,000 challenged by Jefferson Griffin in the NC Supreme Court race. I’ve been registered at my current address for multiple election cycles, confirmed my registration as valid before Election Day, and showed ID.

We know all this already, but there’s a thread on X with what perports to be this letter from an X employee ( presumably now no longer employed there)…. I have no way to verify this. It’s just bracing if it’s authentic—even if we know we know this.
