Why is no one talking about the fact that it was Mulroney who yoked us to the US with the original NAFTA? John Turner warned us about the dangers and he was written off as a fear monger.

Canadian here. Have always loved Minnesota (spent my honeymoon in Minneapolis!) It is the only state I will ever visit again.

On top of everything that is going on in the world, today we lost one of Canada’s best.

I grew up on RCAF bases. My dad was the BATCO in Cold Lake AB while my uncle was stationed in Colorado Springs USA. The Mess ran out of whiskey so my dad and his pilot friend flew a (i think) Tudor to the base in Colorado to pick up booze. No joke. This would have been mid 70's. Unthinkable now.
