Sharing one tastefully received message widely is much more effective than a million cringey or offensive memes. There is a reason society as moved away from agit-prop posters. It might have a resurgence right now, but it will be short lived and it's to our detriment.

They can also backfire. For every person you win with an agitation campaign you can lose the same number or more who find it annoying or distasteful. I've found myself muting allies who discovered they can make lazy propaganda using AI. I don't see it cause it's annoying.
