Apparently our electricity bills are going through the roof and this is partly related to data centers that hog huge amounts of electricity to generate information. I, for one, feel hopping mad about this. The companies that are using the data centers should bear the cost.

My Dad spent the last year and a half of his life in the VA facility in Pittsburgh. Angels disguised as doctors, nurses, and support staff cared for him and the other vets as the heroes they were. My Dad was a POW in a Stalag for 17 months and had severe PTSD. Alex Pretti was a good man- I know it.

This is totally unheard of for any officer-involved shooting
The Washington Post published a clear video of federal agents removing Alex Pretti's handgun moments before he was fatally shot. There's nothing in the video to suggest Pretti even reached for his weapon.
