Went up to Cregennan in Eryri, North Wales, yesterday. Here’s a drawing. Pen and watercolour.

How it feels to live in America.

Land pics tax, haha. There is a massive tree in the middle of the larger bit of land that is part of the bundle that is especially special. But all of this feels really unique and untouched (save some asshole’s dog poo bags they’ve been tossing into the wood every day the last few months…)

Breakdown:
Auction: 1k (starting price, who knows what it’d go to)
Solicitor fees: 2k
Auctioneer’s fees: 4.5k
Taxes: 0
Other fees from paperwork: 1-2k

This feels silly to ask, but would it be weird to start a GoFundMe to raise a few grand for auctioned land that is currently publicly used to preserve it from possible destruction? Part of the lot has a little community park, too. It goes to auction mid-Sept so if anyone has any tips or thoughts..?
