Kicking off now: A faith-led protest in DC’s Columbus Heights neighborhood against Trump’s effort to federalize the DC police force and deploy the national guard.

Trump continues to target blue cities in blue states with Black mayors and declining crime rates, but has zero smoke for the Republican states who have the highest homicide rates.

Despite Trump's efforts to defy our Constitution, the courts are upholding Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s due process rights. Following their ruling I’m glad he’s finally returning to MD. He must be allowed to continue to assert his rights because when one person’s rights are denied, EVERYONE’S are at risk.

Unfortunately, Bluesky is unavailable in Mississippi right now, due to a new state law that requires age verification for all users.

While intended for child safety, we think this law poses broader challenges & creates significant barriers that limit free speech & harm smaller platforms like ours.

Hakeem Jeffries ought to be causing high holy hell over this.

She is indicted because she is Black.

Half of the GOP caucus engaged in sedition and Garland felt arresting a member of congress went too far.

Can we just get some healthcare and some basic human rights?
