I walked around so complacently
in my own naivety
seeking the Love in everything
that when I finally saw the dark
I found myself appalled
no longer knowing, where I fit in

pink fingers
pink toes
spring is in the air
flip flops sun dresses
bare shoulders
bare legs
can't wait for
the sun to bare
down on my face
snow find your way
out of the forecast

I let his words
touch me

where I was
vulnerable
aching
longing

deep channels

like midnight escapes
from the world

she laughs like spring,
soft and bright,
with eyes that glimmer,
sharp as night.

a heart so pure,
yet thoughts run wild;
both sin and saint
in one beguiled.

I need to feel your warmth more closely, I cannot just be in your periphery

the art, it is not for you
but without You, it would not be the same

you are more than the art
you are the light that points to

The feathers that guide my heart
see deep blue
as almost paradise parts
Gather aster beneath the fires
transporting our soul
