This simple but effective infrastructure is super cheap and easy to implement. If I’m being honest cities should just put plastic bollards and EZcurbs everywhere to get proper pedestrian protection and a good bike network going. It’s better than paint and can’t possibly cost that much more. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Philadelphia bike infrastructure is wonderful when it’s properly protected, and there isn’t a car parked in it. It’s definitely better than having car parking on both sides of the road, and increases visibility for pedestrians from cars. I hope to see local govt implement more safety measures soon!
