More people need to understand that saying only “criminals” should be subjected to expanding state violence around us is what led to the broader public being targeted by it, too. Criminality is subjective, and power determines what it is or is not.

Also:

-disallowed content will still be posted, only now people will tag it even less frequently, thus making it more likely we will see content we don’t want to see, not less.

-you gave us a block and mute function for a reason, how about letting us decide what we do and do not want to see?

And if you want to be cheekier:

-how do we show consent in a drawing? Does the artist need to consent? Do we need to ask the fictional characters if they consent?

-does this apply to mainstream media like Game of Thrones? Or does it only apply to independent, mostly queer artists and writers?

Highly recommend that people make some of the following points:

-non-consensual sex doesn’t always look non-consensual; reinforcing the narrative that it does is harmful

-survivors often relate to their trauma through fictional expression; silencing them is harmful

My personal timeline is full of autistic people trying to explain that there isn't more autism than before, it's just that we're better at detecting it, and there's nothing more autistic than hoping explaining something at length will help matters when nobody is really listening.
