Its kinda funny how many orgs choose to start a new consortium for interop bc starting a new one is easier than getting involved with the existing groups.

We haven't hit the interoperable products stage yet. People are still building and were long before Facebook muddled the definition. Its not a bubble, it was a marketing hype cycle. The metaverse is all things digital and interop aka "opening to all" is the best way to break through the hype IMO.
